Dear Kristin,
Your purpose in God is always waiting for you to grab it. Jesus says Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. Once you open up your heart to Him, he will begin to show you your purpose. I pray that you receive grace to open up your heart and also to begin to seek God so that He will reveal all that concerns you to you. Remain Blessed

I was saved at the age of 9 . I suffered through the sexual , physical and mental abuse from my father. I left home at 15. My life has been full of trauma and major depression. I turned to things of the world to try to navigate. I suffered much loss in the last 5 years of children and my better half 3 years ago, was diagnosed with heart failure, rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative bone and disc disease . I am still dependent on legal substance to help with the pain and addiction to cigarettes. I also drank alcohol to try and numb the pain. I’ve been questioning my salvation lately and do not want to be dependent on anything but God. I’m not sure if it is too late for the Lord to have a purpose for my life? I feel as though ive missed His purpose for me? Any prayers would be greatly appreciated! God bless!
