Your promise is part of your commitment to him, however, you have to rely on the Holy Spirit to help you keep your promises to God because the bible made us to know that God is Spirit and anyone who must worship must worship in Spirit and in Truth. Secondly, not by might nor by power but the Spirit and by strength shall no man prevail.

It first started as a “deal”. I was unaware that with God you can strike no deals. I am educated to this now. Question is, is my promise to God important to him? Is it a problem to him if I break it? He knows my heart but I wish to know him better. I feel my not breaking my promise is important to me. How important is it to him?
