And I have provided him a home in my house despite all the trials I have been going through myself these past few months. It just came out of my heart; I saw his pain through his eyes as if he had walked miles. I had to question God if this was what he wanted me to do, because the devil is a liar and could confuse you about things. I have had so much peace since the man has been in my home. I pray for him that his outcome turns for good and that his life changes if he allows God to enter his heart. As days passed, I did notice he kept doubting things changing in his life, so I asked him. Did he truly believe in God, or was it just when he felt he didn’t have any choices? He replies, “I feel since I have been a drug addict for more than 30 years that God can’t forgive me because I can’t forgive myself.” I told him it’s time to let go and allow God to take control of his life and see the manifestation of his hand, that God can turn his life around for the good. Believe in him and have faith even when things don’t turn out as they do. Because he has forgiven already just by taking the first step. I continue to pray for him and invite him to church so he can fellowship with other brothers and sisters that can pray for him and help him in anything they can. As for me, I will continue to be obedient to God’s calling.
